Christmas Cheer

The Salvation Army is widely known for its outreach efforts during the Christmas season. The red kettle is a tradition in our Lee County community. Funds donated by holiday shoppers help those in need during the season and beyond. Children, families, the sick, and the elderly in our community can experience the true meaning of Christmas because of the efforts of volunteers and donors.

The Familiar Red Kettle

We are truly fortunate to have a group of merchants willing to let us set up the red kettles at their store entrances. We are also blessed to have a number of volunteer groups, individuals, and businesses to help us ring our bells each year. Without their collective help there would be no Christmas Cheer.

You Can Make a Difference!

We hope you'll consider a special holiday role this year and help us help others during the holiday season. If you would like to help, check out the many ways to get involved.

The following application and brochures are PDF documents you may download to fill out and/or read to learn more about our volunteer program. (All are PDF files and require Adobe Reader to view the documents).
