ADOPTION
"For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, Abba, Father"  Romans 8:15

There is no greater privilege than being an adopted child of God Almighty.  Even the thought of it makes a person tremble!  In ancient days, adoption was for childless, well to do people.  It was uncommon for an infant to be chosen, but rather an older child who had proven to be fit and worthy of the adopting parents family name.  Aren't you glad that God does not choose us based on who we are,  our age, or our IQ?!  You see, the Bible proves that God loves ALL  of His creation.  He created us individual and unique, and He created us to show the world the same kind of love He has freely shown to us!!
Can you imagine the joy of being taken from a lifeless, loveless orphanage and being brought into the loving court of a King?!   Can you imagine being taken out of obscurity and brought into Gods eternity?  Can you imagine being delivered out of a life of fear and uncertainty and brought into a world of faith and assurance?  That is what has happened to you if you are born again, brought into the family of God through the sacrifice of King Jesus!   Do you believe this?  Oh beloved, I hope you do.  Listen to the words of Jesus in Luke's gospel, "Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom." (Luke 12:32)  Friend, God delights in giving you all that He has to offer, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, self control!  And on top of that, eternal life.  God has no financial requirement, He does not concern Himself with looks or talent, and He is not concerned with where you live, what you drive, or who you know;  He is concerned with your heart.  He wants your heart.  He wants to know you, and He wants you to know Him.  He wants you to spend eternity with Him in His perfect place, a place created especially for His children.
If you are not an adopted child of the Heavenly King, you can change that right now.  The Bible says that whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.  We come to Him by grace through faith, and He will receive all who cry out to Him.  Pray this prayer "Lord Jesus I know that I have sinned. I pray you will wash away my sin and adopt me into your family, the family of God.  Come into my heart and stay with me for eternity.  I commit my life to you this day, and I thank You for dying on the cross and shedding Your blood to prove Your love for me.  Holy Spirit keep me near to You all the days of my life, so I can show Your love to all people.  In Jesus name I pray.  Amen"
If you prayed that prayer for the first time, congratulations, you are a child of God!!
