Devotional_Thoughts

Good day and God bless you all this morning! I trust and pray that you enjoyed Easter weekend, and that the week is starting out well. We had a wonderful Easter celebration at TSA church, and I will take this opportunity to invite you all to our services, you are always welcome to come and worship with us!

I take time every Easter to reflect on the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus the Messiah, and what that means to me. What is the significance? How does this impact my life? More than anything else it represents strength. Strength that is not of myself, but strength that is in me. Strength that is from the Almighty and not in my own human strength, wisdom, or understanding, but strength that is perfected through my weakness. When I am weak I am very strong. Makes sense, no?

The Apostle Paul, the writer of the bulk of the New Testament, says in 1 Corinthians 1:25, "Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men" and in 1 Corinthians 15:43 Paul writes, "It (the body) is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power." You see, when we identify with Christ, when we align ourselves with Him through faith, when we become "born again," we receive form Him all the power that raised Jesus from the dead and brought Him back to life!! Ephesians chapter 2 Vs 1 says, "And you he made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins."

Friends, all the power of heaven and earth are available to you today by faith in Jesus! Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired? Are you empty in the pursuit of wealth and prosperity through earthly things? Is there a void in your life? That void was put there by God, and God is the only one who can fill it. Until a man or woman understands the deep desire and longing of the human heart for a relationship with the Creator, life will be monotonous and mundane. Thank God for the blessed assurance that God gave us when He sent Christ to show us His Great Love for each one of us!

Read the Gospel of John chapter 3 verse 16. Read Romans chapter 8 verses 37-39. Read Ephesians chapter 2 verse 4. The Bible is chock full of reminders of God's love for us! Oh, I trust and pray that you know Him today. He died to give us new life and entrance into eternity with Him! I thank God through Jesus Christ my Lord for salvation from sin and self!! I plead with you, surrender your life and your will to Him today! Watch Him take your weakness and use it for His glory, watch Him take your frailties and fill you with His strength, watch Him transform your lowly body into a beautiful creation of God, purified, refined as gold and useful for the Masters purpose.
