Donate your airline miles

United Airlines Charity Miles Program

United-Continental-Airline-Logo_for_websiteThere is now another way to give to The Salvation Army. Through United Airlines Charity Miles Program, Mileage Plus members can donate accrued miles enabling The Salvation Army to move personnel quickly in time of disaster, provide travel for those in need of emergency medical care outside of their area, and reduce administrative costs by providing travel for staff.

In partnership since 1999, these invaluable contributions provided travel for Salvation Army replacement personnel to Ground Zero following the 9/11 attacks.

Through these donations, a needy family was reunited with a repentant father dying of cancer.

Through these donations, an eleven year old girl diagnosed with RSDS (Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome), which left her with intense pain and unable to walk, received the specialized treatment she needed.

There are many ways to change a life. We hope that this provides yet another way The Salvation Army can partner with you to do just that.

How it works:

1. Set up a United Airlines Mileage Plus account, if you do not already have one, by contacting United at 1.800.421.4655
2. Whenever you fly United Airlines or on a Star Alliance carrier, be sure to show them your United milage card or inform them that you are a member and they will credit your miles to your account.
3. To make a minimum donation of 1,000 miles to The Salvation Army, call United at 800.421.4655 and request that your Mileage Plus miles be transferred into The Salvation Army's account.

To donate your miles call: 1-800-421-4655 or visit United Airline.

Delta SkyWish

Delta-AirLines-Logo_websiteYou can use your miles to make a real difference in someone's life. With the SkyWish program, you can donate miles to The Salvation Army and join in supporting their worthwhile programs, such as moving personnel quickly in time of disaster, or providing travel for those in need of emergency medical care or who have social service emergencies outside of their area.

Through donations, a military family was reunited with a dying grandfather before the soldier was deployed overseas to a war zone.

Your donations helped us to move Salvation Army officers and personnel to disaster areas, such as Hurricane Katrina, and the earthquake in Haiti to provide emergency care, feeding, counseling, medical services, and the rebuilding of lives, homes and communities.

Through these donations, persons with the rare birth defect, Robinow Syndrome, were able to meet with doctors who specialize in the syndrome and receive free medical evaluations, obtain the latest information concerning the syndrome, and network with other families who deal with this syndrome on a daily basis.

There are many ways to change a life. We hope that this provides yet another way The Salvation Army can partner with you to do just that.
